Barefoot Bowls - Take 2

It was with a very heavy heart that The 2nd Barefoot Bowls event of 2015 was cancelled due to strong winds, heavy rain and electrical storms. On grounds of health and Safety and with advice from all their Partners, Goy and Parton decided to pull the plug on what was all set to be another successful event.  On cancelling the event, Parton said " The health and safety of each and every Bowler was paramount and under those conditions we could guarantee nothing. He went on to say " Being outdoors is what makes Barefoot Bowls so good. Unfortunately we got beaten by the elements today but we will come back stronger and wiser next time..."
